While all of the attention was focused on perimeter security and preventing attacks from the outside in the last few years, employees and other trusted insiders quietly have become the most dangerous threat to corporate networks. Bonner is responsible for managing the global information risk team of Barclays information, infrastructure, and applications by identifying, managing, and leading, either directly or through partnerships, all aspects of information risk. He joined Barclays, initially within Barclays Capital, in 2003 from LIFFE, where he was Information Security Manager, responsible for protecting transactions worth $12 trillion per month. Prior to LIFFE, he worked at various London investment banks.
