ABSTRACT:
Using the HP Virtual Connect modules, you can move LAN and SAN switches out of the HP BladeSystem enclosure to isolate and simplify administration among server, LAN and SAN teams. This gives you the flexibility to pre-configure a rack of enclosures, including LAN and SAN connections, so you can wire once and add, change or move servers without affecting the LAN or SAN. Speed up server failover, changes and installation with stateless servers for fast replacement. And save on travel costs when remote data centers need server changes--but don't require on-site LAN or SAN administrators.
