ABSTRACT:
In this podcast, discover what the key business problems are that would lead an organization to consider Application Performance Management (APM) as a solution and which approach to application performance management is most effective based on the business problem that is trying to be solved.

Listen to this podcast and find out:

  • What are the specific problems that are solved by taking this approach, compared with any other approach? (For example, pinpointing bottlenecks before they become crises - planning appropriately for capacity - having a consistent view of key customer metrics and making it available to all key decision-makers).
  • What are the benefits to the IT organization - short-term and long-term - to taking a transaction-centric approach to APM? What are the benefits to the business in this approach?

What is the impact to the IT organization? What skills does the IT organization need to have or acquire? How does this scale as the business applications, customers and complexity increases?
