ABSTRACT:
A Midwestern state needed to provide mobile access to email, calendar, and contact information for 5 Supreme Court judges while traveling from courthouse to courthouse. The primary means of communicating with justices and administrators on the road is through email and mobile devices. However, due to spotty network coverage in certain rural areas, justices and administrators have been compelled to carry laptop computers with them in order to periodically check email and update their calendars. This podcast explores IT's solution for convenient and protected access to email, effective appointments and committee meetings scheduling, and prompt handling of time-sensitive court business.
