When you're running a critical application, it's essential that you maintain high performance. Poorly performing applications -- whether they're enterprise applications or Web applications -- can result in frustrated users, and lost money for the business.
In this webcast, performance management expert Bernd Harzog reviews what you need to do maintain high performance. Steps include measuring application performance as often as possible and applying the performance reference value framework -- define the load model, automate load testing, define a template that captures the transaction timings from load tests and compares them to SLAs, and deploy probes to monitor the performance parameters of the underlying operating system stack to assist in diagnosis.
