ABSTRACT:
Disaster recovery is no longer confined to a few applications deep in the data center. With all important business processes now computerized in most companies, IT departments must be able to restore service and protect data for a wide variety of applications. And they must do it in a cost-effective way, while still protecting against regional disasters like hurricanes and terrorist attacks.
This keynote address from the Storage Decisions Disaster Recovery Virtual Seminar features Mark Schlack, VP of Editorial for the Storage Media Group at TechTarget.
Whether you are a CIO looking for the big picture, or a line IT manager who needs to justify your DR project to upper management, this keynote will give you a perspective on the overall issue of DR and why your organization must implement some form of strategy.
