ABSTRACT:
The Sunrise Advanced Warehouse Management System is fully embedded into Microsoft Dynamics AX and leverages existing AX functionality. It offers complete end-to-end warehouse management functionality, including insight into production inventory flows.
Sunrise AX WMS is an integrated, comprehensive and advanced warehouse management solution:
- Written in X++ code using the AX development environment
- Web browser based applications (used by wireless devices) are developed in .NET using the business connector
- Uses existing objects wherever possible, extending them as needed
- Introduces new objects that fully integrate to the existing objects
- Follows AX best practices on user interface, inheritance, etc.
- Offers a comprehensive set of warehouse management functions including inbound shipments, receiving, put away, material issue, production reporting, wave planning, picking, packing, shipping, slotting, flushing, and cycle counting
