ABSTRACT:
With the EMC platform established the next step in the DMS project was the addition of process specific application logic. To meet the overall project objectives the application would be delivered in phases - the challenge was to seamlessly integrate completion of the later phases into the functionalities already rolled out. This challenge required a flexible overall design of the solution. To achieve this flexibility Grünenthal selected McLaren Software's kVisia technology which today is the underlying basis of Enterprise Engineer.
Today Grünenthal has used Enterprise Engineer to automate many phases of the Drug Development-Authorization Process. All of these phases are in production or ready to move to production immediately. Using Enterprise Engineer and its ability to rapidly configure the solution to meet specific business needs.
