ABSTRACT:
Canadian Blood Services has hundreds of laptops running in their mobile blood donation vehicles. These laptops were expensive to maintain and upgrade as they were running different versions of hardware and software. Additionally, the requirement to constantly certify a new configuration in order to adhere to health care regulations was a drain on resources. In order to employ a scalable, efficient laptop deployment and management solution, they looked to VMware ACE and are now able to streamline the regulatory compliance while rapidly deploying new machines to the field.
