ABSTRACT:
Ventana Research conducted a study about enterprise resource planning (ERP) to see if companies are likely to use ERP systems to implement new business approaches or processes. They found that companies are more likely to use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to change business practices that are closely related to core accounting functions or activities involving transaction processing and less likely to have innovated in their approaches to operations or analytical requirements.
This white paper reviews the results of the Ventana study and shows that companies can do far more to improve process execution by using ERP to its fullest advantage. Read this white paper and see how you can improve your use of ERP by applying it to the appropriate areas.
