ABSTRACT:
Mobility has become a rapidly expanding global experience, spanning all regions. In fact, the total number of mobile phones topped 2.5 billion by September 2006 according to the GSM Association and Ovum. With IDC reporting in October 2006 that cell phone shipments could exceed one billion in 2006, the growth of mobility continues to explode around the world. So who are these mobile device buyers and what types of handsets are they purchasing? What services are they using, and how does mobile device usage differ from region to region?
