ABSTRACT:
Assistive Technology (AT) is a field of rapid innovation and shifting standards. VeriTest keeps up by regularly updating our assessment profiles to allow clients to understand the changing AT landscape.
Today, our work centers on several existing and emerging standards in industry, academia and government, including
- The Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C-WAI) created by the World Wide Web Consortium, comprised of industry leaders such as Microsoft and IBM; and
- Section 508 of the United States Federal Government Rehabilitation Act Amendments
VeriTest also refers to accessibility guidelines from the Trace Center of the University of Wisconsin, among others.
