CableMedea® is a comprehensive, complete residential gateway software package that significantly reduces the time-to-market and development costs of gateway modem products. This comprehensive software package enables them to develop residential gateways with secure Internet access, IP routing, VPN and management and provisioning support without third party software packages.
CableMedea® software code can be used across multiple Broadcom-based silicon platforms, making it easy and cost effective for customers to develop new products. Built around well-defined sets of APIs, CableMedea® can be easily modified to support each customer's unique feature sets and/or third-party software options.
