ABSTRACT:
Initiate Systems, Inc., a leading provider of customer data integration (CDI) software and services for the on-demand enterprise, today announced the availability of Initiate Identity Hub 5.2™ software, the company's next-generation CDI product. The enhancements to the latest version of Initiate Identity Hub™ software better enable organizations to create, maintain and use a trusted, enterprise-wide view of the customer across disparate systems.
Initiate Identity Hub 5.2™ software includes the following new capabilities:
- Additional platforms: More organizations can use the Initiate Identity Hub™ software because it now supports UNIX/DB2 and Linux/Oracle
- Expanded Web Services functionality: Organizations can use web services to take advantage of the trusted system of record created by Initiate Identity Hub™ software in more ways. Now, all key commands for using web services to manage customer, task and administrative data are available in an optional module
- Initiate™ Searching Software Developer Kit (SDK): Independent software vendors and other organizations can use Java or C++ to integrate the Initiate Identity Hub™ software's core capabilities for finding, matching and virtually linking customer records into their applications. These optional modules enable developers to add the capability to overcome different file formats, different local identifiers, transposition errors, missing data and other roadblocks within and across disparate systems to find records that may represent the same customer, household or other entity, and to determine the likelihood that records should be linked
- New web-based reporting: Organizations can better leverage the complete, accurate, and up-to-the moment data about their customers with optional new web-based reporting applications based on industry-leading Business Objects technology. In this release, Initiate delivers two new applications, Initiate™ Reporter for ad hoc data analysis, and Initiate™ Data Profiler, a data profiling application. Initiate plans to deliver additional reporting applications with subsequent releases
- New reports for Initiate™ Auditor customers: Management teams that want to identify the root causes of data errors, improve processes and address data problems at the source will benefit from two new Initiate™ Auditor reports. Event Type Summary provides statistics on the root causes of identifier errors; Event Type Detail takes Event Type Summary to the next level by listing specific transaction details
- Increased internationalization support: All Initiate applications now support symbols and characters found in most European languages
