SecureDISC, part of the DISC line of products from Discrete Technologies, is a software productivity application that secures the contents of any DVD or CD. Used in conjunction with any Rimage system, SecureDISC prevents access to sensitive information written to the disc.

SecureDISC encrypts a DVD or CD image before it is written to a disc. After the image has been encrypted, it is written to a blank DVD or CD with any Rimage system. The intended receiver must have the SecureDISC client software and the correct password to access the contents on an encrypted disc.

Discs encrypted with SecureDISC are completely encrypted at the image level, preventing unauthorized access to the disc. SecureDISC will encrypt data DVDs and CDs, and video DVDs that are to be played on a PC.
