Using the latest in JBIG2 compression technology, CVISION's CVista PdfCompressor makes the most compact, web-friendly PDF files anywhere. Using PdfCompressor 2.1, a typical PDF image file should compress by a factor of 5x-10x. So a 10-page 300 dpi PDF image file, which might be 900 KBytes to 1 Megabyte in standard PDF format, is reduced to a 95 KByte file using PdfCompressor 2.1. Consider the time required to download this file off your Website, running a T1 line with effective bandwidth of 50 KBytes/second. The time to download is reduced from 20 seconds to 2 seconds.
