ABSTRACT:
Since the Intel IOP331 I/O processor embodies a high performance processor with scalability, memory caching, and a PCI-X bridge on a single chip, ATTO was able to achieve maximum design and cost-efficiency. Because ATTO had used other Intel processors with Intel XScale technology, porting the design to the IOP331 was easy; the software had great similarity. Thanks to Intel's strong roadmap, product line compatibility, and highly integrated offering, ATTO was able to deliver a high-performance product on time.
