ABSTRACT:
According to the findings of this survey, white papers, and case studies play a critical role in the decision process of corporate and IT management. For example, 62.7% of survey participants use white papers or case studies in order to evaluate technology products and services. The purpose of this study is to measure the readership and usage of white papers and case studies in corporate and IT management. The study identifies the role of white papers and case studies in evaluating products and services; the influence white papers and case studies have over purchases and the perceptions of the companies the documents represent; and the reasons managers read these content assets.
