ABSTRACT:
policyIQ? is an easy-to-use web application that stores and communicates all of a company's policies and procedures. Users navigate through departments and manuals to find policies relevant to them. Managers use the authoring tools to create new policies, the workflow tools to manage the creation and review process, and the publishing tools to communicate new and changed policies to applicable employees.
policyIQ? automates policy maintenance by forcing managers to periodically audit all of their policies and procedures An audit date is assigned to every page, between three months and one year from the publish date, and managers ar notified when their pages are in audit. Managers then review and revise their individual pages, or simply renew the audit date if no page changes are necessary. All prior versions of the page are accessible by the manager, and date and time stamps are recorded whenever the page is reviewed, changes are made, and audit dates are renewed.
