Meru Controller is a high performance wireless LAN (WLAN) gateway that enforces and manages all traffic, security, QoS, and deployment policies. The Controller provides a complete standards-based security suite, centralized element
management system (EMS), and plug-and-play deployment of Meru Access Points. The Controller works with existing LAN switches and can reside anywhere on the network.
Meru System Director is embedded software, residing on the Meru Access Points and Controller, that delivers a set of extensible WLAN services for security, RF planning, voice, location-based applications and more.
