ABSTRACT:
FAXCOM for Exchange supports Exchange 2003, 2000 and Exchange 5.5, with the installation procedure automatically detecting the appropriate environment.
Major benefits of FAXCOM for Exchange include:
- Configuring the FAXCOM for Exchange fax connector with Exchange Administrator/Exchange System Manager
- Routing to Exchange Public Folders and Distribution Lists, as well as individual users
- Specifying user defaults as Custom Attributes
- Routing incoming faxes by Direct Inward Dial (DID) number, specific FAXCOM Server fax port on which fax was received, or Transmitter Subscriber ID (TSI) of sending fax machine
- Controlling which users can send and receive faxes
- Specifying within Exchange System Manager such network fax service options as: log size, log delivery time, number of times the FAXCOM fax server retries an unsuccessful fax delivery call - as well as the interval between retries, a dial prefix of up to 10 digits to be automatically added to the beginning of the destination fax number, offpeak time, default resolution, and the Address list to search, which enables you to provide faster access to fax recipients' mailboxes when routing incoming faxes.
