ABSTRACT:
Many business scenarios that call for Blazent solutions focus on upgrades and migrations of desktop hardware, application software and operating systems. In these scenarios IT executives respond to 1) evolving application needs 2) aging systems or 3) general corporate upgrade policies (e.g. lease renewals).
Executing these valuable, essential projects in a financially-responsible manner is a challenging task for any IT organization. There are many enterprise-wide to individual issues that must be understood and considered. One of the key challenges is gathering real-time information about the utilization of resources across the enterprise. To execute any upgrades or migrations with financial confidence requires a base understanding of how the altered hardware or software is being utilized across the enterprise. |
