Data Synchronization: What Is Bad Data Costing Your Company?

So what is bad data costing your company? Based on findings in a recent study from CGE & Y, the answer is plenty! The study revealed that the impact of out-of-sync information within and between businesses in the retail supply chain is costing the industry an average of 1-3% of supply chain performance. Mike Haas, CIO for Johnson & Johnson, noted in a Logistics 2001 article titled "Planning for the New Global Compliance Standards" that "item synchronization issues cost manufacturers 1/2% of sales annually."
