ABSTRACT:
This paper outlines the advantages to deploying NetMotion Mobility? software in a GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) environment. GPRS offers a packet mode service over a wireless (cellular) interface (see TS GSM 03.60). By allowing the use of multiple slots in a TDMA frame, it enables user-level bit rates from 9 to more than 150 kbps. It supports applications based on standard protocols (IP, PPP, and X.25) and interworking with external packet data networks.
