Texas Instruments Fingerprint Authentication Development Tool (FADT)

Product Description
TI's Fingerprint Authentication Development Tool (FADT) series is a development platform targeted at biometrics software/algorithm developers and biometrics based product developers. It is a complete development environment as well as evaluation platform for fingerprint authentication products.

There are currently four FADT products are available from TI. Each FADT is based on a different fingerprint sensor and includes a software CD, drivers and documentation, and requires that the user have a DSP Starter Kit (DSK) to plug into the (The DSK is not part of the FADT).

The software CD includes an evaluation copy of the DAD verification algorithm for TMS320CC55x™ DSP as well as TMS320C67x™ DSP. In addition to the verification algorithm, the CD includes fingerprint image capture drivers, expansion board schematics, user guides and software agreements.
